Description
Cotton Card Fly
Cotton Card Fly is the lightweight waste collected from the carding machine during the early stage of yarn preparation. It consists of very short fibers, motes, dust, and leaf particles that are stripped and air-blown from the main cotton web. This material is significantly coarser and contains more non-fibrous impurities compared to Comber Noil. Due to its low fiber quality and high trash content, its applications are limited to non-woven products that do not require high strength or purity. It is commonly used as a filling material for low-cost mattresses, upholstery padding, and industrial insulation. Its recovery is important for mill cleanliness and contributes to a minor reduction in raw material waste.
