Description
Cotton Lickerin Fly
Cotton Lickerin Fly is the coarse waste extracted from the lickerin cylinder of the opening and cleaning line in a spinning mill. This is the first and dirtiest waste collected, comprising a mix of very short fibers, seeds, husks, sand, and dense soil particles. It is the lowest grade of cotton waste and has minimal textile value. Its primary use is in the non-woven sector for manufacturing low-grade products like industrial wipes and mops. Often, it is also used as a raw material in the paper industry or for creating certain types of construction materials, ensuring that even this initial waste stream is diverted from landfills.
